Selene is a lunar reference app for Mac, iPhone, and iPad with local phase calculations and NASA-based lunar imagery.

What Selene provides

• Current lunar phase and illumination
• Lunar age, lunation number, and key moon cycle moments
• Phase timeline and upcoming events
• Live mode and time-lapse mode
• Native interfaces for macOS, iPhone, and iPad

Troubleshooting

• If the displayed data looks stale, close and reopen the app.
• If a widget does not refresh, remove it and add it again after updating the app.
• Make sure you are using the latest released version of Selene.

Privacy

Selene is designed to work offline and the current version does not collect personal data. The privacy policy is available at https://www.tstange.de/selene/privacy.html.

Image Attribution

Lunar imagery used by Selene is derived from NASA Scientific Visualization Studio CGI Moon Kit color and elevation maps. Selene is not affiliated with or endorsed by NASA.
